PAPA ROACH, MASTODON, BLACK LABEL SOCIETY: Early Sales Report
September 14, 2006According to Hits Daily Double, PAPA ROACH's "The Paramour Sessions" is poised to sell between 35,000 and 40,000 copies in the United States during its first week of release — a drop from the 52,000 first-week performance of 2004's "Getting Away with Murder". Meanwhile, MASTODON's "Blood Mountain" and BLACK LABEL SOCIETY's "Shot to Hell" are both on track to sell between 30,000 and 35,000 copies in their first week of release — significantly more than the 8,000 first-week tally registered by MASTODON's predecessor, 2004's "Leviathan", but less than the 45,000 copies shifted by BLACK LABEL SOCIETY's "Mafia" back in March 2005.
